Welcome to Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School

In Christ's family we grow together, sharing our learning and love.

Welcome from our Headteacher, Mrs Grealis

It is a great privilege to serve as the Headteacher of Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, a place that holds a very special place in my heart—not only as a leader, but as a former pupil. Having spent my primary school years here as a child, I feel deeply honoured to now guide the school in continuing its mission of providing a nurturing education rooted in the values of the Gospel.

At Sacred Heart, we are proud of our strong Catholic identity, where Christ is at the centre of all we do. Our dedicated staff work closely with parents, carers, and the parish community to ensure that every child is known, valued, and supported to reach their full potential —spiritually, academically, and socially.

Our school is more than just a place of learning; it is a caring community where children are encouraged to grow in faith, love, and service to others. I am continually inspired by our pupils’ joy, curiosity and kindness, and I feel blessed to be part of their journey.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. I warmly invite you to explore more and see what makes Sacred Heart such a special place to learn, grow, and belong.

 Key Information

Care

In Sacred Heart, we recognise that everyone is made in the image and likeness of God. We want to be cared for and should care for others, no matter whom they are or what they believe. We take pride in all that we do, caring for our school and the world in which we live.

Courtesy

We welcome everyone into our school community, with good manners and a smile. We take time to listen and learn from each other, in all our diversity, remembering everyone has something important to say. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect, we may make mistakes but we know saying sorry can help mend the hurt.

Commitment

At Sacred Heart, we work hard in all that we do. We are loyal to each other and show commitment to our global neighbours, especially if they need our help. We have a responsibility to take care of what God has given us and recognise that the world belongs to everybody.
